Our Process
Getting Acquainted
The very first step in the process is to get acquainted and determine if we are good fit for each other. The design/build process can be challenging and you will have peace of mind if you are confident with us as your builder of choice.
Define Your Budget
Be upfront and honest about your targeted budget for your project – as we do not want to under design or over design your project. If budget is a driving factor, we can help guide you through what products are budget friendly vs. what may or may not make sense in the design phase.
Development Agreement
To begin project planning, the next phase is to enter into a Development Agreement. By entering into the Development Agreement with us, owner agrees to hire, and Builder agrees to perform the following services: Design and Prepare Blueprints that define project, prepare a Construction Agreement, Secure Owner’s Project on Builder’s schedule and hold crews.
Construction Agreement
Upon completion of Project Design, the builder will prepare a detailed Construction Agreement which includes: Blueprints, Finish Schedule that outline material specifications and a cost estimate and draw schedule. Once Construction Agreement is finalized and signed, this will be sent to the bank for financing (if applicable).
Construction
Once financing is secured and building permits are applied for, construction begins. The typical home build takes approximately 6-8 months weather permitting.
Occupancy
Your design becomes reality and the homeowner officially takes possession and can begin creating lasting memories!
